“A Bit Of Bad Luck” (*1/2 out of four) was a bit of bad luck for moviegoers starring Cary Elwes as a smarmy yuppie attorney who gets lost in a nowheresville Southern town where his wife (Teri Polo) who he’s been cheating on orchestrates a plan to destroy him and his career. One-joke idea is tiresome and contrived. Elwes is good as always but let’s just say this is a long way from “The Princess Bride”.
