“Monument” (** out of four) was a meandering, pointless drama about two brothers (Gray Cairns, Luke Albright) who journey across the country to spread their mother’s ashes at the monuments she always dreamed of visiting. Well-intentioned drama has a few good moments for fans of road movies but is derailed by lack of point and focus. By road movie standards, this runs out of gas and needs direction after about 45 minutes.
