“A Deadly Place” (*1/2 out of four) was a deadly dull thriller about a woman (Cassandra Ebner) who returns to her remote home after her father’s death and is reunited with a few of his former friends (Douglas Chapman and Iain Belcher) who dredge up secrets about her and her father’s past that question her reality. Practically suspenseless story plods instead of builds and bogs down in its own tedium. Atmospheric lensing from Robert Riendeau is one of film’s few assets.
