“The Pumpkin Man” (*1/2 out of four) was a sour Halloween horror thriller about a group of friends (Stephanie Kirves, Barbara Desa, Josh Rutgers, and others) who come face-tp-face with the title killer and have to fight to the death to survive. Allegedly based on a series of horror-film shorts and short is what they should have stayed; only for those desperate to watch anything for horror on Halloween.
