“Demise” (*1/2 out of four) was a trashy suspense potboiler about a successful businessman (Carlo Mendez) who begins a sultry affair with a woman (Liz Fenning) and his wife (Crystal Hernandez) finds out which causes his whole life and reality to gradually unravel. Uninvolving and unpleasant pretty much all the way through and wanders on way too long. “The Red Shoe Diaries” used to tell these stories in about a half-hour flat.
