“Buzzkill” (**1/2 out of four) was a better-than-average Tubi horror comedy about a group of hapless sorority sisters (Siena Agudong, Brec Bassinger, Aliyahs Interlude, and others) who wind up trapped with a murderer and find that they can only decipher who the murderer actually is if they are all intoxicated together. Director Jem Garrard works in an off-the-wall style that incorporates elements of “Mean Girls”, “Black Christmas”, and also “Clueless” into a not-always-seamless whole but it never stops moving and is entertaining while it lasts. Brendan Barnes’ garish and colorful cinematography gives this ample eye candy.
